A temporary interruption to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 match games between India and New Zealand due to dense fog led to several memes on social media even as the cricket pitch at picturesque Dharamshala city came in for criticism games

Gill had to stop playing for India briefly after he reportedly contracted dengue fever games
The user was apparently likening the fog at the stadium to mosquito foggers often used in localities in India to curb the spread of mosquitos games
A few users took a dig at the disputed relations games between the Indian and Pakistani cricket boards games
India were in control of their chase when the play stopped on Sunday, with Iyer scoring 21 runs off just eight deliveries games
The middle-order batter struck two consecutive boundaries just before the on-field umpires signalled for the game to halt games

Martin Bakole is angry games
Frankly, that may be an understatement games
In Bakole’s eyes, he is the most avoided man in the heavyweight division, and the worry for Carlos Takam is that he may have to absorb that anger on Saturday games
Before Tyson Fury’s bewildering bout with Francis Ngannou plays out among the dunes of Saudi Arabia, Bakole and Takam will meet in a more traditional heavyweight clash – and one that Bakole intends to mark with a breakout performance games
Perhaps with that, he can make up for the ‘mistake’ that has defined his professional career in recent years games
“The only mistake I made, and even my coaches are telling me, is that they allowed me to spar these top guys,” Bakole tells The Independent games
“These guys know they don’t belong where they are now, because if I stand with them, I give them problems games
I only show them three or four punches, because I’m coming to help them; but even in helping them, I’m giving them problems games
I’m a machine in there, throwing as many punches as I can games

He will not play with Ngannou, I don’t see Ngannou surviving a round with Fury games
